Lancia Voyager 2013, now with 178 hp diesel engine

Lancia Voyager 2013

When the Lancia Voyager was introduced three years ago, was considered little short of heresy by assaulting the range of the legendary Italian manufacturer with lines that have little to do with what one might expect from a Lancia past. Believe it or not, this large MPV inherited directly from Chrysler has become the mainstay of Italian firm’s sales in Europe , hence we have decided to make a major change in its range.

So far, the only engine was a 2.8 CRD four-cylinder turbo delivering 163 hp , more than enough for the European market. Now, have made a twist to increase the power of the engine to 178 hp , while peak torque remains 360 Nm. Can only be configured with a gearbox six-speed automatic and, in any case, it is front wheel drive.

With this new engine, the average consumption is estimated at 7.9 l/100 km , while in city recorded a figure of 10.5 l/100 km and theoretically conforms road with 6.3 l/100 km. emissions of carbon dioxide remain in 207 g / km . The benefits are most important in a car of this type, but thanks to this power increase the number of acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is reduced from 11.9 to 11.5 seconds.

Moreover, the range is configured as usual in three finishes : Silver, Gold and Platinum, in increasing order of amount of equipment built. Lancia took this renewal to promote Spanish market the Lancia Voyager , which is now offered from € 34,700 in basic finish as long as the buyer can benefit from the Plan PIVE . Gold and Silver finishes start from 41,800 euros and 44,500 euros respectively for large families.
